The Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston invites you to join the online colloquium “Taiwanese Puppetry Cosplay" Negotiating Performance and Animation”, organized by Performing Arts Department of Washington University at St. Louis, in partnership with the Dept. of East Asian Languages and Cultures (WUSTL) and the Taiwan Ministry of Education.
Dr. Teri Silvio, Research Fellow at the Institute of Ethnology, Taiwan Academia Sinica, will talk about the topic basing on her extended ethnographic research on theater, puppetry, toy design, and comics.
